Wali Kota Tegal: Waspada Boleh, Tapi Jangan Ciptakan Kepanikan Masyarakat

Tegal –  Sabtu (14/3) Wali Kota Tegal, Dedy yon Supriyono di halaman Pendapa Ki Gede Sebayu Komplek Balai Kota Tegal, didampingi Wakil Wali Kota Tegal, Muhamad Jumadi, menyampaikan bahwa saat ini pihaknya sudah melakukan persiapan-persiapan, termasuk ruang isolasi yang sudah disiapkan di RSUD Kardinah.

Pihaknya melalui Dinas Kesehatan dan RSUD Kardinah memastikan agar betul-betul melakukan pengawasan dan kewaspadaan terhadap penyebaran virus corona, jangan sampai kewaspadaan ini nantinya bisa meresahkan dan kepanikan atau bahkan memberikan rasa takut kepada masyarakat.

Senin (16/3), pihaknya akan menggelar rapat dengan Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kota Tegal, yang dilanjutkan pertemuan dengan pihak-pihak terkait, bagaimana penanganan kedepan virus corona di kota Tegal.

Bahkan Wali Kota berencana akan mengundang pengusaha Perhotelan dan restoran se-kota Tegal untuk, Tokoh agama, untuk melakukan sosialisasi virus corona, bagaiaman cara penanggulangan potensi penularan virus corona.

Dirinya juga menghimbau kepada masyarakat tetap waspada, terhadap penularan virus corona,namun demikian, Ia berpesan bagaimana Warga Tegal bisa menyikapi hal tersebut dengan baik, dan tidak membuat masyarakat secara umum menjadi ketakutan
“Warga Kota Tegal harus bisa menyikapi sehigga tidak bikin takut, atau bikin tegang. Karena itu akan berakibat mengganggu aktivitas, yang biasanya setiap hari bekerja nanti bisa terganggu,” pungkas Wali Kota.(red/hms)
